Several months ago, the USS Wayfarer discovered the USS Arista crashed on a planet outside of Federation space. The crew had been used as living livestock for a reptilian race known as the Tyranians, forced to be reborn, live and die over and over again as a food source.

With their 'farm' now destroyed and the Arista crew rescued by Starfleet, the Tyranians want revenge upon the people who took that away from them. For months they have schemed and finally manage to track down the USS Wayfarer. Their goal: to hunt down its Captain and crew on their own ship and pick them off one by one and show these 'Humans' that they are the superior species.
