Securing Sickbay

Mission: Cracks in the mirror
Location: Outside Sickbay

Sickbay wasn't as heavily guarded as some areas of the ship. A couple of guards had been stationed outside the main doors and a few of the Terran medical officers were in the process of emptying out the sickbay of its supplies and equipment. It seemed like they were more interested in taking what they needed rather than any sort of medical procedures or treatments.

"Alright," Mashiro whispered. "I'm counting at least five or six guards; two posted outside of sickbay, four more in the facility itself; it would appear they alternate out every 30-or-so minutes."

She turned to face her team. "We could probably take them, but they outnumber us; and that doesn't begin to factor in what happens if they squeal and try to call for backup. Any suggestions as to how we're going to do this?"

Luna was fighting mad, wanting to just run in and wreck the place...but thankfully, there were more level heads around her.

Mark poked in and checked on the position of the terrans within the sickbay.

“What if we just blend in?” he whispered to the crew members.
“They are basically us, just dressed differently and acting in another way. But I am their Chief Medical Officer …and I might…” he turned towards Luna “…want to vivisect a monster alien prisoner? No offence, lieutenant” he smiled trying to reassure her.

Before continuing on his plan, he shot a glance to the commander.

“We just need to gain some tactical advantage. Once we’re in and they are all focused on me tearing apart the lieutenant, we can take them out easily and they won’t have the time to call for help” he offered waiting for inputs and ideas from the rest of the team.

"Nice idea in theory, but the uniforms are going to be a dead giveaway," Mashiro pointed out, gesturing to the fact that the four of them were still in their Starfleet uniforms.

"Hmm...unless..."

She glanced over at Luna. "Lieutenant, what do you think would be your chances of securing us some Imperial uniforms?"

Luna barked out a laugh.

"Oh...I think I can score enough to give us a fighting chance," Luna smirked as she cracked her knuckles.

"Now about that dissecting thing...HOW are we going to pull THAT off?" Luna asked curiously.

The doctor held a chuckle observing the fiery Klingon's uncomfortable face.

"Never mind...uniforms first, dissection later," Luna grinned a little feraly as she slipped into the shadows, returning a short time later a little bloody but holding several clean Imperial uniforms.

"That was fast" Mark noticed as he welcomed back his soon-to-be-vivisected medical "guinea-pig".
"Wonderful" he smiled "it's almost my size" he thanked her while getting ready.
"As per the vivisection..." staring at her "we will just pretend to...I'll just take a few medical things, pretend to chain you on a biobed and when they will be distracted by us..." he turns towards the rest of the team "...I'm sure all the terrans would enjoy a bit of a show. The rest of you will attack them and we'll all secure this place"

Luna smirked, a feral smile twisting her lips in anticipation of bashing a few more heads.

"Sounds like a plan," Mashiro nodded, before shifting her attention over to Rania. "Lieutenant Bhatti, when Doctor Johnson here gives us the signal, that's when we'll move in."

"Well, are we gonna just stand here, or are we gonna get our ship back?" Luna asked, cracking her knuckles.

Mark nodded and crawled out of the hiding spot.
"Let's move then" He grabbed his "object of study" by the arm and made his way towards the main entrance of the sickbay.

"Just be ready for me to try and bite you, Doc. I plan on keeping them WELL occupied!" Luna chuckled softly.

"How do I end up in these situations" Rania muttered softly with a exasperated hiss of a sigh. The Counsellor moved cautiously and looked around. The realization that this was her life now was not all that comforting.

It was surprising to the team, but just like main Engineering, the sickbay was empty and quiet. It was like no one was home, it was all so still, so silent and eerie. A strange surprise for the team as they entered.
