Mission: The Games

"Well done so far to all of our competitors!" The announcer said. "Now it's time for our third event! It's a good one! The Heavy Object Lift!"

The arena changed, this time four benches appeared each facing outwards towards the crowd set in a square. "Several objects will appear on these tables. They start off light getting heavier and heavier! The competitor has to hold it up with one or both arms for at least thirty seconds to pass! It's sudden death with this one people! If the competitor can't lift the object or drops it, they're out of the game!"

"Please welcome our competitors for this event!" The crowd roared and cheered.

Akeno turned to her team. "Ok, so who's doing this one again? Let's be honest, it's likely the Romulans will win this one. They naturally have the best strength, but we do stand a chance at beating the Orions..."

"We gotta keep an eye out...never know who'll try to cheat." Luna watched the other teams.

The Klingons stood silently, not doing anything to prepare...that could be seen anyway.

Mectok glared at the other teams, thoroughly done with these foolish 'games' and only keeping his composure because he could be as rough as he wished.

"Kael"

A single authorative word from Vorek and his young crewmember stepped up and moved towards the competition area. Tall, heavier than the average Orion but still obviously weaker than the average Klingon or Romulan, Kael was the best choice for Orions.

Patra knew it best if they lost this one to the Romulans, she was sure she could hold out against the others. Rolling her shoulders and neck, she smiled "I'll do it. After all it is a matter of lifting, simple mathematics and engineering will help with lifting." ~Plus I might distract the Orion, they have a thing for human females.~ she thought.

"Not to mention, from what I know of you, you're good at knocking people off their game," Luna added, a small smirk twitching the corner of her mouth.

Patra did a faux Who Me? toward Luna, then bowed, twirled and blew her a kiss. with a wink

Luna giggled, rolling her eyes at Patra as she reveled in the excitement.

Patra saw the Orion competitor and whistled. She walked over to him and in an overly sugary voice inquired "So big boy, what brings you here?"

Akeno hushed over to Mashiro. "Whats Patra doing?" She asked in a whisper.

"I'll take this one Captain." A young officer said. It was Lieutenant James from Security and had a reputation for being the 'body builder' type of person. He stepped forward.

Akeno smiled. "Go for it Lieutenant, show them what you can do!"

Patra began stretching next to the Orion. She stretched in such a way that the Orion male could not miss every inch of her female body. She ensured he wouldn’t have to imagine to hard what she looked like unclothed. “So tell me big boy, ever been with a human female?” as she said this she lowered her voice into a seductive purr, hinting at the possibilities.

Patra then acted as if she was ensuring no one overheard the next statement. “If not, then perhaps I might be persuaded to let you find out how much fun they can be.” She smiled and winked at him, in a conspiratorial way.

Luna was trying to watch the show without WATCHING the show, trying to keep her snickers quiet.

James walked upto the table. The huge Klingon next to him dwarfed him. This was a purse display of physical strength, something that the Lieutenant had been building for years. For a Human he was more muscle than anything, the countless years training in the Starfleet gyms had built him into a strength machine.

The first object appeared in front of the competitors. It was a simply block with a handle. Each competitor easily picked it up and held it for thirty seconds.

As soon as the objects were placed back down they disappeared and then the same objects reappeared.

"Ah I see. Since they're using holographic technology. They can alter the weights as they see fit." Akeno said to the rest of her crew. "Thats a clever way of doing it, plus it makes it fair."

"You can do it Lieutenant!" Akeno called out. "Show them what a Starfleet Officer can do!" she added. She only hoped her support and encouragement was enough to get his adrenaline flowing through his veins.

"Are ALL human females so squeaky? You'd think they'd let a bunch of Tribbles loose in here!" Narth roared, lifting the weight high above his head to the chants of his crewmates.

"At least the Tribbles would actually be scared of her. To them, you're just a huge cousin!" Luna shot back, getting a laugh from the crowd. The Klingons were NOT amused.

"You're going to be dead after this, HALFLING." Narth hissed, shoving Luna as he walked past.

"You'll have to get in line, Narth." Luna answered in a sing-song voice, showing off her Klingon teeth.

Patra smiled and looked at the Orion competitor in the eye just as he was getting ready for his lift. She threw a mock kiss, and a wink, then wiggled her hips. The Orion missed his grip and failed to lift the weight.

Patra again smiled at the Orion male as he again attempted to lift the weight. She then made a suggestive flick of her hips and batted her eyes coyly. She again accomplished her goal, the Orion had barely lifted the weight before he lost his grip. He was eliminated for failure to lift the weight. Patr frowned and shook her head, she made it clear she would not be seeing a loser. ~Orion males are so easy to manipulate. If they think there is even a chance they can mate with a female their minds are over ridden by their other head.~ thought Patra.

Patra walked back toward Luna, overly exaggerating the movements of her hips her hips, making the male Orion even more flustered. ~One down and damn Klingons and Romulans to take down.~ thought Patra as she stepped up next to Luna. "So enjoying the games, or the show?" asked Patra with a smirk.

"Bboth!" Luna's snickers had gotten up to a coughing fit, her face as red as a tomato as she tried to catch her breath.

"Good, because I aim to please, when I act in such a fashion." replies Patra, with a wink and a smile.

Luna managed a nod, but it took a good ten minutes for her to get her breathing under control.

Patra smirked, in a teasing manner she stated “Why Lieutenant I do believe you are blushing. Wouldn’t want to see more would you.”

"I...er...that is..." Luna's face went through several shades of red at the unexpected direct flirt.

Patra smiled seductively at Luna, “Thinking of what it would be like. Shame on you Lieutenant.” Patra then looked about, “Think I did a good enough job so far with the games?” she asked Luna.

"Grwat you are...I mean Gatorade...dough! You're doing great," Luna finally managed, hoping her blathering wouldn't last much longer.

Patra laughed, “Relax Lieutenant, just having some fun with you. Though should you ever seriously want to know, just tell me.” She then walked over and grab some Gatorade. “This what you are recommending for me to drink?”

"Sorry...you're so good, I got a bit enthralled myself! Yes, Gatatora's good for hydration when a Squincher's not available," Luna grinned sheepishly as she grabbed a Gatatora herself.

Meanwhile the competition continued. The Romulans took first place, followed by the Klingons. Then the Orions and finally the Federation. As much as their Lieutenant tried, he was unfortunately no match for the others.
