Hide and Seek

Mission: In The Beginning...

The small room was dimly lit with one door and no windows, the only furniture was the room was a wooden chair sitting in the corner.

Sito fell to the floor after another blow to his face. He coughed as more blood drained from his nose. He touched it gently with his tied hands, feeling the swellings warmth.

The Orion stood over him and cracked his knuckles, trying to intimidate the fallen, battered and bruised human further.

"Where is she?" He growled.

Sito chuckled from the floor, "who?, your mother?" He chuckled again.

The Orion kicked him hard in the stomach, blood spat out of Sito's mouth. "The Starfleet Bajoran woman! The Obsidian Order, or what's left of it, have upped the price on her head. Save yourself some pain and let us know where she is? We promise to let you go once we have her". He tried to sound sincere but was doing a bad job of it.

"She's....." Sito feigned gasping for breath. "She's......". The wounded man fell quiet, his chest stopped moving.

The Orion grabbed the human by the lapels, and pulled him to a standing position, to better access his condition. Giving him a shake to try and regain consciousness, the humans head slowly began to move. The Orion pulled him closer wanting to stare him in the eyes, he never had the chance! Sito's eyes flew open and thrust his head forward aggressively, smashing the Orions nose. The green skinned humanoid stepped backwards unsteadily, grasping his broken and bloody nose. Sito quickly followed up with a roundhouse kick, squarely kicking him in the stomach. He doubled over, falling to a knee. The bearded and bloody human grabbed the nape of the Orions neck and with what energy he had left, slammed his head into the opposite wall. The Orion crumbled to the floor, unmoving.

Sito regained his composure and breathed in deeply, eyeing the still green skinned body.

A portion of Sito's left ear vibrated several times to get his attention. He spat out some more blood collecting from his mouth and tapped behind his ear at hidden communication device the Doctor has surgically implanted. "Go ahead" he answered.
