Maddox started to tense up as the current message from Lt Emma Frost came through from the Enterprise. She wanted to speak to him urgently, She sounded upset but he didn't understand why.

=Communication to USS Enterprise. Lt. Emma Frost Chief Intel Officer.=. The computer acknowledged the request to the Enterprise.

" Ah Lt. Commander Maddox thank you for getting back to me so soon." Emma struggled on how to tell the man he had suddenly become a father.

" So what can I do for you Emma." He could see see she was struggling with something. The pain in her eye Said it all. He left her to say what was troubling her. Emma sighed " Ok I hope your sitting down Commander Maddox. For what I have to tell you is more of shock to me as well." She explained to him.

" I boarded the Enterprise. We followed a bunch of decommissioned Star Fleet Ships. Our Mission was to follow them and see where they ended up. The downside to this mission is that we think Section 31 and the Klingons are working together. But that's only half the story There Six kids on the Enterprise. And they are all part of eugenics experiment. Section 31 had extracted DNA from Star Fleet officers, 5 of the command crew. You and I included where used.

Jason was shocked. Any thing that Section 31 involved in usually meant trouble. " Ok Emma I see where this may be headed but carry on".

Emma thought Jason looked calm enough. "Ok so these experiment's have made you and I parents of one of them who I have in my care. She has had bad start in life she is Six years old and is named Michelle." Emma watched the commanders face. " Yes Emma's ours. In due course I will introduce here to you but for now I will send you photos and her medical records".

Jason was shocked for a slight moment but his thoughts kicked in quickly " Ok I am shocked and as we have never met?, this is kind of confusing. But I am not one to shirk responsibilities. We can co parent her and what ever you need for her please let me know.".

Emma was pleased at that this he took it well. " One more thing commander. Michelle is a super intelligent as well as the rest of the kids that section 31 had manipulated.'

Jason seemed to not surprised by this at all " Ok understood Emma Look I have to report for duty I will contact you when the USS Wayfarer sets sail so we cant talk some more. Maddox out"

Reporting to his new assignment Jason thought about the conversation he just had and he smiled having a daughter wasn't a bad thing.
