Zoey sat behind Captain Sprague and sunk into it today was a busy day. Tapped on the terminal she began a Captain's log but first, she placed her feet up on the desk and closed her eyes.

"Acting Captain's log stardate 98342.46." She stated. "The Wayfarer was en-route to Earth at warp 6. Captain Sprague exited the bridge, not information anyone, Commander Misaki left me, Lieutenant Commander Zoey Perkins in command while she hunted for the Captain. Upon the travel, a blue flash appeared blinding the bridge crew for a moment. Ordering all stop full sensor scan & Operation report."

Zoey opened her eyes staring at the ceiling then continued. "Helm reported that the ship already came to a full stop, Lieutenant O'Donnell reported and I quote all power systems are functioning normally. We should still be at full speed, but something has nullified the warp field configuration but...but." Zoey placed her feet down for the next part. Carrying on she said. "Lieutenant Dampfish didn't report upon turning to face him he wasn't at his post when he was upon departing. The computer reported he wasn't on board the Starship calling engineering I asked for a crew and status report. He replied that something disrupted our warp field and half of his engineering team had disappeared. He has attempted to recall Gamma Shift to fill in temporarily, but less than half responded.

Standing up she walked in front of the desk and landed against the front. "Later Tyvok said we may of have had an encounter with a quantum filament and that he had an idea of re-establish a warp field while we headed towards Starbase 57 at maximum impulse power the journey would take 14 days... I don't think that crewmen knew what he was doing. But regardless we engaged the impulse engines. After 3 hours Tyvok said he had the warp engines online but we should only be able to achieve warp 1.37. Ordering to go to warp we hit a bit of a stag... Engaging at warp speed more blue flashes appeared again blinding evieryone on the bridge. Again I ordered a full stop and I performed a sensor scan myself."

Walking towards the sofa and laying down Zoey said. "And I quote his words exotic particles that normally exist outside of normal space are now colliding with our deflector screen are emitting quite a bit of light upon impact... We're a day away from 57 but tactical scans show that 57 is destroyed by Dominion weapons. Operations reported that the Dominion War is ongoing, 2376 and the Federation appears to be is losing. Then we went into Grey mode I didn't want to change history... Ops scanned for a hiding place an asteroid field 3 light-years away we're en-route at Warp 3."

Sitting up on the sofa. "Engineer said that we're in a state of quantum flux undetectable to anyone in sync with this reality. Somewhat of a 'phase cloak'. As time goes on, we will eventually settle into sync with this reality, at which point, it may be nearly impossible for us to phase back into ours... It's his belief that in 7 days we'll be part of this reality and it would be impossible for us to return to our space-time. When we get to the asteroid field we'll land or orbit and then figure out what to do. I hope we return to our time and restore the balance. End log."
