Running Into the XO

Mission: Deep Space Nine
Location: Deck 3-USS Wayfarer
Timeline: MD-01

Rosaleen was quickly making her way back to her quarters, having spent the better part of the afternoon soaking in hot springs on the holodeck. It was a program of her own design, and she had finally had the opportunity to upload it this morning. While relaxing, the time spent there had put her behind on her own personal schedule. So as she made her way back to her quarters, she had her nose buried into a PADD working on the weeks schedule for her shop. As such, Rosaleen's awareness of her surroundings was on the periphery of her consciousness. So it was no surprise when she suddenly came to a stop, PADD flying from her hand, as she ran into someone in the corridor.

Brushing the hair from her face "Oh...excuse me, sir." Rosaleen said, the lilting Irish accent very prominent as a smile crept across her face. "I should have been paying a bit more attention to where I was."

It wasn't the piercing blue eyes, or the wet, waist-length red hair that caught Brig's attention first. Not even the instantly infectious smile. It was the fact that the person that he had bumped into was wearing a deep blue silk robe that seemed to cover less than her hair. That was probably more his imagination that reality though, but...

"No harm done Lt. O'Donnell". Commander Sito bent down and picked up the PADD. "I think you dropped this?"

"Thank you sir." she replied, brushing more hair out of her face.

There was a long uneasy silence and time seemed to stand still.

Sito tapped his comm-badge "Go ahead"

=/\= Sir, you have a call coming in from Admiral Nechayev at Star Base 10 =/\=

"Understood, please patch it through to my quarters, Sito out". Brig pulled down his tunic and regained his composure. "If you'll excuse me Lieutenant". Commander Sito nodded and done a quick 180 degree turn, heading to his quarters and his chat with the Admiral.
