Mission:
The Avenger
Location: USS Wayfarer, Bridge
Timeline: MD-03
:OFF:
Just going to tidy up and bring things together a bit so we all know where we all are.
:ON:

Captain Mike Meezo strode onto the bridge confidently, quickly followed by Lieutenants Paxton and O’Donnell, and Lieutenant Commander Maddox soon afterwards.
Mike passed Lieutenant Commander Au’rel who was stood at the back of the bridge, acknowledging her with a nod, which she reciprocated.
Lieutenant Maldonado had been taken straight to sickbay to have her broken hand seen to by Doctor Hayes, and Tyvok had returned to main engineering.
Mike nodded to his XO as Sito stood up and vacated the command chair and moved into the first officer’s seat. “Captain, good to see that you’re in one piece sir.”
“Did you ever doubt it, XO?” The Captain half-smiled as he took a seat, the XO sat beside him. “Status of the Romulans?”
“The Romulans have made a break for it in opposite directions hoping if we went after one, the other would survive the encounter. They probably wondered what the hell they just came up against?" Sito chuckled, “It’s not every day 22nd century Romulans see a 24th century starship and its attack fighters. I bet the Tal Shiar will be dissecting their sensor logs for years".
Mike rubbed his chin and frowned. The temporal prime directive had well and truly been trampled on today, and he would no doubt get a visit from Temporal Investigations when they got back to their own time. They still had the Avenger and most of her crew. There was some good that came from this situation, and saving the lives from a 200 year old ship being one of them. "Do we still have helm control for the NX-09?”
Brig shook his head, “Unfortunately not sir, the helm stopped responding shortly after you were beamed back, but we could lock onto her with a tractor beam..?”
The Captain almost laughed, “Of course! The tractor beam! I knew there was a reason I chose you to be my first officer, Commander! Lucky the self destruct initiation was halted too, or we’d be towing a giant bomb with us!” He had genuinely forgotten about the simplest solution! “Lock onto the Avenger with the tractor beam.”
"Yes sir." Replied Paxton who carried out the Captain’s orders without question.
Mike spoke again, “XO, if you wouldn’t mind getting us back to our own time, I’d appreciate it.”
"Aye aye sir". The Commander got to his feet and stepped down towards the helm, “Ensign Reynolds, reverse course and plot a route back to the anomaly and engage at half impulse. Nice and steady. It's time to go back to the future!"

Rushed? Maybe.
But feel free to throw a twist in there if you want guys! Next mission next week.
