Lost Sole!?!

Mission: In The Beginning...
Location: USS Wayfarer
Timeline: Present

After, beaming over from the AIS Omncane Class Intra Stellar Space Craft, to the USS Wayfarer. Lt. JG UJohane K. Isidlakela asks the Transporter Crew-person,on duty where the Junior Grade Officer's Quarters are; Lt. JG Isidlakela and "Squeazal" thanked her. Then the Lt. JG gathered UJoe's ( I'll using UJoe, instead of "he", "she", etc. ) Kit and Squeazal's Carrier and headed off through the Wayfarer's maze of corridors and lifts until UJoe found UJoe's Room.

While, putting belonging away, finding a place for Squeazal's Carrier, and asking the ship's computer where one might find Capt. Meezo, UJoe, had to keep reminding the Isililo Nezinye.
"Now Squeazal be polite, to the Capt. Don't talk when he's talking. Don't climb on him. He won't have any "num-nums". Don't keep holding his hand if he wants 'shake' one of yours. And if You must salute, do it with only one hand." ... "No, It's 'Capt. Meezo, Sir.' and that's all. and please don't monopolize any resulting conversion."..."The blue coverall will be, fine, Squeazal."

"Yes, we go see Captain now." Squeazal climbs up on Lt. JG Isdlakela shoulder, as they leave the room.

After, renegotiating USS Wayfarer's maze of corridors and lifts they find the Capt. Michael Meezo's ready room. Where upon UJoe informs the Ship's Computer of his request, to see the Capt. and the Ship's Computer informs Capt. Meezo of Ujoe's Presents.

The Captain Door opens Lt. JG UJohane K. Isidlakela steps in as Squeazal climbs down off Ujoe's shoulder. Both come to full attention, Lt. JG Isidlakela salutes saying: "Lt. JG UJohane K. Isidlakela reporting for duty, Capt. Meezo, Sir.", then going to parade rest.

While Squeazal standing at attention on his lower "paws" salutes with his upper right "paw", saying, "Me, Squeazal reporting, too, Capt., Sir, Meezo." Then sits on with all his "Paws" folded, staring back and forth at the Lt. JG, then the Capt. waiting, for what comes next.

“I’d like to formally welcome you both onboard the Wayfarer.” Mike stepped forward and held out his hand for UJohane to shake. The reptile-like science officer looked down at the hand and eventually shook it. Mike had never seen a Reptiloid in the flesh before, and expected the officer’s hand to be cold and clammy, but it wasn’t.

Mike then held his hand out for Squeazal. The small creature shook one of the Captain’s fingers instead of the whole hand, but it made little difference.

“Thank you for presenting yourselves to me.” The Captain nodded, “Try and get some rest, we launch in the morning.”
