My conversation with Admiral Nechayev didn’t work out as i’d planned. I was expecting her to hand over the file on Lieutenant Deritan without an issue but as she reminded me, I no longer work for Starfleet Intelligence. The pull, and clearance level I once had has faded, that is until the Admiral needs me for another off the books mission?

The last one was difficult to recover from and I still hear Sinclair’s screams when I sleep. Torture can break a man and in that Jem’Hadar labour camp during the War, it nearly broke me, if it wasn’t for Talia. The thought of returning to her, was the only thing that kept me going......

Let’s not dwell on the past. We have more pressing matter ahead. Time to relieve Ensign Reynolds on the bridge if the Captain hasn’t done it already?
