OFF:

This post is for Reality A, where Sprague is the only one on the ship.

ON:

{USS Wayfarer, Bridge}

Still wearing his bathrobe in the command chair that he didn't know was his, Sprague got sentimental for a moment--this was the last time he would ever sit in the center seat, and it might even be the last time he ever set foot on a starship bridge.

"This ship... I can only imagine what her Captain must be like," he muttered. Who would let the entire crew go on shore leave? That's beyond even a Sprague move!

Who cares--not my problem, he thought as he got up and entered the turbo lift.

{Transporter Room}

Just as with the rest of the ship, Sprague found the transporter room empty. He had his suitcases, but was still in has bathroom. Retirement granted such liberties, he told himself. "One last operation," he said as he activated the controls.

He briefly wondered why he couldn't recall any of the five-day transit from Starbase 57 to Earth, but immediately dismissed the thought. Meh--no biggie.

Sprague then waddled onto the pad just before de-materialization began. Unfortunately, one of his bags fell to the floor, spilled open, and failed to transport.

OFF:

Sprague is off to Spacedock, Earth, or wherever!
