Brief Personal Log, Supplemental. Lieutenant Tyvok, Chief Engineer, reporting.

A curious event as occurred. A few moments ago, nearly half of the crew in the engine room, including Ensign Ramirez, went missing. All attempts to contact them have failed.

Simultaneously, our warp field collapsed. I have attempted multiple times to re-initialize the field. However, it seems that the ship is in a state of quantum flux, preventing any warp field from forming. I have yet to ascertain cause of this phenomenon.

I have attempted to call in Gamma Shift to fill in for missing personnel, however roughly half of the shift was also unreachable.

When attempting to review the engineering manifest, I found that these officers were not listed as assigned to the Wayfarer in the computer. In fact, many are listed to have been killed in action during the last mission with Lord Chaos. People that I just had tea with this morning.

Most regrettably, Ensign Ramirez and Lt Paxton are among those listed as killed in action.

It is clear this incident is related in some form with the quantum flux state of the ship. I must close this log, and continue researching the cause.
