Tournament of Sims Award 2021!

To all crew.

I am proud to announce that the Wayfarer has won an award in the Tournament of Sims for 2021!

Out of 70 nominated sims from across the entire community, the Wayfarer came 14th with a score of 63 out of a top score of 90! This means we won a 'Great Star Trek Award'.

The scores were broken down into three categories, Characters, Story and Readability and we were judged by three anonymous judges each which had no connection with the sims they judged.

Here's what they had to say:

Judge 1: 'This sim does a great job with continued development of the characters and game background while playing a new mission.
One thing they could work on is upping mission start pace a little.'

Judge 2:'This sim does a phenomenal job with the story. The imagery in the writing is superb and brings you right
into the story. In addition the images on the site add to the imagery that the reader has in their head.
One thing this sim can work on is to allow for a little more character development during the missions. It
seems that everyone is just doing their job most times.'

Judge 3:'This sim does a great job with keeping a story moving. One thing they could work on is believability.'

I just want to say that I'm quite happy with the feedback and proud of you all, especially since 2020 and 2021 were rough years for everyone in real life. I am proud to be your captain and I look forward to many more years of keeping our course somewhat on track! Let's take this feedback, work together as a family to improve and obtain our mission to become one of the best IDF sims, whilst having lots of fun too!
