| General Overview | Avery comes from a Starfleet family and as such she has always believed that duty comes first. She prides herself in being incredibly efficient in both her work duties and personal life. Although she has a tendency to bury herself in work, when she does manage to pry free she loves to be with friends and have fun. Avery is very easy to get along with as long as you aren't trying to distract her from work. However, she doesn't open up or trust many people. |

| Personal History | Avery was born in Florida on Earth, but was raised on various star ships that her father was assigned to. Her father was a marine pilot and although she considered following in his footsteps, Avery had more of a knack for engineering (though she is also a decent shuttle pilot). At the age of 18 she applied for Starfleet Academy and was accepted. She graduated at the age of 22 with a degree in Engineering and served her first tour on the USS Midway for 5 years. Afterwards, she took a one year shore assignment to catch up with her family back in Florida before returning to space as the asst. chief engineer on the USS Equinox for 4 years. |
